Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basket for collecting sea urchin, capable of suitably preventing the sea urchin from invading into the lower side of a net even when used in a sea area having unevenness on the sea bottom to improve the catch rate extremely. SOLUTION: The basket for collecting the sea urchin is constituted of a frame 2, the net 3, and a rope 4 connected to the frame 2. The net 3 is constituted of a center part 3a stretched in the inside of the frame 2, and an outer periphery guard part 3b attached to the frame 2 so as to be hung downward therefrom, and weights 8 are attached to the lower edge 3c of the outer periphery guard part 3b.
