Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid receiver capable of suppressing a liquid refrigerant amount made to flow in a compressor and efficiently executing necessary amount of oil return to the compressor and a highly reliable refrigerating cycle device using the liquid receiver. SOLUTION: Density inversion of a refrigerant and oil is performed, and non-compatible or slightly compatible oil is applied. In an accumulator 10, an oil recovery hole 4e is formed in a position higher than that of a first oil return hole 5, and a flow passage from an opening end of an outlet pipe 3 up to a communication hole 4i is formed independently of a flow passage from an oil recovery hole 4 of a perforated pipe 40 up to the communication hole 4i.
