Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine with an exhaust gas treatment device capable of preventing damage of an exhaust pipe due to vibration of an engine body. SOLUTION: In the engine with an exhaust gas treatment device, the exhaust gas treatment device 4 is supported by the engine body 1, and the engine body 1 and the exhaust gas treatment device 4 are communicated via the exhaust pipe. A casing of the exhaust gas treatment device 4 is composed of a plurality of mutually separable casing portions, connection flanges 8, 9, 10, 11 are provided on ends of the casing portions, the casing portions 5, 6, 7 are connected by connection of the connection flanges 8, 9, 10, 11, and the exhaust gas treatment device 4 is supported by the engine body 1 via the connection flanges 8, 9, 10, 11.
