FUEL INJECTION VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a fuel injection valve wherein a plating layer appears from an inner peripheral surface of an axial hole in a movable core. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve 10 includes: a valve housing 11 having an injection hole 18; a fixed core 20 fixed to the valve housing 11; the axial hole 34 passing through in the axial direction; an axial end surface 32 formed with the plating layer 360; the movable core 30 to be moved toward the fixed core 20 side by application of magnetic attracting force; a shaft part 42 to be slidably inserted into the axial hole 34; and a valve member having a projection 44, which projects from the shaft part 42 and which can abut on the axial end surface 32 of the movable core 30 from the fixed core 20 side, and intermittently injects fuel by opening/closing the injection hole 18 with reciprocation thereof. Additionally, the movable core 30 has an annular recess 38 recessed over the whole circumference from the inner peripheral surface 35 of the axial hole 34 and opened in the axial end surface 32 on the fixed core 20 side.
