PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device which prevents forced opening, even if a lifting load is applied to a sliding door. SOLUTION: A mounting base 35 is mounted to a fixed base 20 fixed at a predetermined position on the ceiling side. A blocking member 36 having a guide groove 36a is mounted to the lower face of a horizontal plate part 35a of the mounting base 35. A mounting plate 38 is connected to the upper faces of the sliding doors 16, 17, and a blocked member 39 stuck to the upper face of the mounting plate 38 enters the guide groove 36a in the closed state of the sliding doors 16, 17. Even if the sliding doors 16, 17 receive a strong upward forced opening load, the upper face of the blocked member 39 abuts on the inner top surface of the guide groove 36a of the blocking member 36 to prevent forced opening of the sliding doors 16, 17.
