PARTITION DEVICE AND PARTITION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area partitioning technology which enhances independence of each area and which has a high degree of freedom of design. SOLUTION: This partition device is connected to at least one columnar body elongated upward from a floor, so as to partition a columnar body-installed space into the plurality of areas. The partition device includes: a first plate-like side plate which is connected to the columnar body so as to partition one lateral side of each of the plurality of areas; a plate-like front plate which is connected orthogonally to the first side plate so as to partition the front of each area; and a second plate-like side plate which is connected orthogonally to the front plate so as to partition the other lateral side facing the one lateral side of each area. One of the plurality of areas and the other areas adjacent to the one area are disposed in different directions.
