SOLUTION: The ultraviolet disinfection instrument is equipped with a dielectric tube 7 pervious to ultraviolet rays and permitting the treating water to flow in and the ultraviolet ray source 6 arranged outside the dielectric tube 7. The ultraviolet ray source 6 comprises a light emission tube 10 having a double glass tube structure which surrounds the whole outside periphery of the dielectric tube 7.
