Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module and the like capable of arranging hollow fiber membranes in a comparatively high density. SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane module comprising a plurality of hollow fiber membranes, an upper water passage chamber and a lower water passage chamber communicating with hollow regions inside the hollow fiber membranes, air-diffusing pores formed so as to generate air bubbles at the side of the lower end of the hollow fiber membranes, and an air passage chamber formed below the hollow fiber membranes and supplying air to the air-diffusing pores, wherein a plurality of the hollow fiber membranes are used by arranging in parallel so as to collect permeating water permeating from the outside of the hollow fiber membranes to the inside from both of the upper and the lower through the upper water passage chamber and the lower water passage chamber, further comprises an upper part connecting member which covers the upper water passage chamber to connect adjoining objects each other, and a lower connecting member which covers the lower water passage chamber and the air passage chamber to connect adjoining objects each other, wherein the upper connecting members the lower connecting members and the air passage chambers are formed so as to communicate with each other in the state of connecting the upper connecting members and the lower connecting members each other.
