Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle beam irradiator for measuring and displaying dose two-dimensional distribution when scanning with a simple structure while suppressing degradation of a particle beam shape low. SOLUTION: The particle beam irradiator includes: a beam generation unit for generating particle beam; a beam emission control unit for controlling emission of the particle beam; a beam scanning unit for two-dimensionally scanning the particle beam; a sensor unit in which a plurality of first linear electrodes are placed in parallel in a first direction and a plurality of second linear electrodes are placed in parallel in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; a beam shape calculation unit for calculating a center of gravity of the particle beam according to first signals outputted by the respective first linear electrodes and second signals outputted by the respective second linear electrodes to obtain a two-dimensional beam shape of the particle beam around the center of gravity; a storage unit for accumulating and storing the two-dimensional beam shape; and a display unit for displaying the two-dimensional beam shape as a two-dimensional distribution of the dose.
