SPEECH SIGNAL PROCESSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve degradation in the sound quality of consonants, in a high-efficiency advanced audio coding (HE-AAC) system which is a speech coding system of one-segment broadcasting. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a speech signal processing device, constituted such that a multiplex speech data separated into first and second frequency bands differing from each other is input, and a speech signal is reproduced and output, on the basis of the speech data. The speech signal processing device includes: a decoding means including a first speech decoder for decoding the speech signal of the first frequency band of the input speech data, and a second speech decoder for decoding the speech signal of the second frequency band; and a speech mode detecting unit for detecting a speech mode of the input speech data. When a speech mode detected by the speech detecting unit is a dual mode, the first speech decoder is operated, and the second speech decoder is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
