Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin varnish having high transparency and a high refractive index and excellent storage stability, to provide a molded article obtained by molding the same, to provide an optical component having excellent performance, and to provide an optical device. SOLUTION: The resin composition is the resin varnish used for forming the optical component. The resin varnish includes a resin having a refractive index of 1.6 or more, inorganic particles containing at least one of zirconium oxide and titanium oxide, and a solvent. The content of inorganic particle in the resin varnish is ≤15 vol.%. The optical component is formed by using the resin varnish. The optical device has the optical component.
