Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for finding a DNA marker linked with a gene locus having resistance to bacterial wilt disease of a plant of the genus Capsicum and stably and efficiently identifying and selecting an individual of a plant of the genus Capsicum having resistance to bacterial wilt disease at an early date of stage of raising of seedling by using the DNA marker. SOLUTION: The primer set for amplifying a DNA marker linked with a gene locus having resistance to bacterial wilt disease of a plant of the genus Capsicum is provided. The method for selecting an individual of a plant of the genus Capsicum having resistance to bacterial wilt disease includes using a nucleic acid extracted from a plant of the genus Capsicum as a template, performing a PCR using one or a plurality of kinds of the primer sets and analyzing an amplification fragment length obtained by the PCR.
