Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a light distribution direction to be variable and also make a reflecting range and a light distribution direction widely adjustable by making space for light distribution smaller, in a reflected illumination system where a reflecting member which can be arranged freely on a surface of a space partition reflects light from a lighting fixture and distributes light. SOLUTION: The lighting system includes a reflecting member 1 which can be freely arranged in an arbitrary position of a ceiling surface 101, and a lighting fixture 2 arranged on a side wall surface 103 for irradiating light to the reflecting member 1. The reflecting member 1 is equipped with a plurality of reflecting pieces with reflecting surfaces to reflect the light from the lighting fixture 2, as well as a rotating shaft which makes each of the reflecting pieces free to rotate. Each of the reflecting pieces is arranged so that the rotating shaft is in a parallel position to each of them, and angles between each reflecting surfaces and the ceiling surface 101 are mutually the same. Accordingly, the light distribution of the reflected light to a desired direction can be arranged by rotation of each of the reflecting pieces, and also the adjustment of the light distribution direction by a plurality of the reflecting pieces can make a space for the light distribution smaller and adjust the reflecting range and the light distribution direction widely as compared with the case where only one reflecting piece is used.
