LENS FIXING METHOD FOR RIMLESS EYEGLASSES, AND RIMLESS EYEGLASSES USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rimless eyeglasses in which a lens is fixed to a connector only by fitting the lens into the connector and firm engagement is achieved. SOLUTION: The rimless eyeglasses include the rimless lenses 1 and 2, bridge 3, and the connectors 6 and 7 that are provided at tips of temples 4 and 5. An inwardly extending notch 11 is formed near each of the upper left and right ends of the rimless lens 1. At least two through-holes 12 are formed in this notch. Projections 31 and 61 formed from bodies 32 and 62 and protruding heads 33 and 63 are provided on the surfaces of the bridge 3 and connector 6. The projections 31 and 61 of the bridge and connector engage with the corresponding through-holes 11 of the rimless lens. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
