REFRIGERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator including a function for efficiently thawing food without degrading quality of the food in thawing. SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes a storage compartment of a refrigerating temperature zone, and includes a latent heat cold storage agent (31) melting at a positive temperature in the storage compartment. Further the refrigerator includes a thawing compartment (8) defined inside of the storage compartment or on its adjacent position, an air blower (52) for distributing cold air to the thawing compartment (8), and an air trunk (50) for guiding the cold air distributed by the air blower (52) to the thawing compartment(8), and the latent heat cold storage agent (31) is disposed on a bottom section in the thawing compartment (8). A high heat-conductive member (32) is disposed on a top face of the latent heat cold storage agent (31), and the air trunk (50) is disposed at an upper section of the thawing compartment (8).
