Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device achieving a reduction in the thickness of a portion interposed between the salient poles of a stator core and a magnet in a cylindrical barrel without deteriorating the strength of the cylindrical barrel of a pump case partitioning a stator from the magnet. SOLUTION: This pump device 1 is a vortex pump, and the stator 4 and a rotor 5 including an impeller 51 and the magnet 55 are partitioned by the cylindrical barrel 34 of the resin pump casing 3. The pump casing 3 is formed with ribs 39 connected to the cylindrical barrel 34 and a bottom 33. The ribs 39 project from the cylindrical barrel 34 toward portions between the salient poles 44 of the stator core 40. Therefore, in the cylindrical barrel 34, it is possible to reduce the thickness of the portion interposed between the salient poles 44 and the magnet 55 without deteriorating the strength of the cylindrical barrel 34.
