Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accelerating performance while preventing the occurrence of white smoke during downhill traveling. SOLUTION: This control device for an internal combustion engine includes a determining step of determining whether a fuel non-injecting condition is continued for a predetermined time or not when a vehicle whose engine brake is operated goes downhill, and a temperature increasing step of forcibly driving a supercharger 10 provided in an intake passage 5 or a compressor for a predetermined time with electric operation or the motive power of the internal combustion engine to increase a temperature in a cylinder 3 when determining that the fuel non-injecting condition is continued for the predetermined time.
