CLOTHES DRYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drying device extending the interval between clothes drying poles in use, and positioning the lowermost clothes drying pole serving as a foothold to a higher position in the stored state. SOLUTION: A support 2 is slidably attached to fitting 1, an arm rod 3 provided with pole receiving holes 6 and 6 and an elongate variable pole receiving hole 7 is slidably and turnably attached to the support 2, and a pair of movable plates 4 and 4 are provided to move in the longitudinal direction of the arm rod 3 with the variable pole receiving hole 7 interposed between them. The movable plates 4 and 4 are respectively provided with abutment parts 8 and 8 slidably engaged with a moving groove of the support 2, and contact receiving parts 9 and 9 are provided in the moving groove of the support 2, so that the abutment parts 8 and 8 abut on the top faces of the contact receiving parts 9 and 9, and the movable plates 4 and 4 are relatively moved above the arm rod 3 in the stored state.
