MEDICINAL SOLUTION INJECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal solution injection system capable of determining not only presence/absence of leakage from a blood vessel but also a type of an injection failure. SOLUTION: With this chemical injection system, which comprises: a leakage detection unit 60 attached to the body of a subject to detect whether or not a contrast medium is leaked from the blood vessel; a piston drive mechanism 15 to slide and move a piston member of a syringe; a pressure detector (16a) to detect pressure on the piston member applied by the piston drive mechanism; and an output device (50) for aurally and/or visually indicating information, the type of the injection failure is determined from the combination of detection results by the leakage detection unit and the pressure detector, and the determination result is output to the output device (50).
