Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable ventilation cap which is mounted without fail, and to provide a method for manufacturing the cap. SOLUTION: In an elastomer inner cylindrical body 3, constituted of a thermoplastic elastomer and directly mounted to a ventilation hole part 2 of the ventilation cap, a filter 5 is jointed with one end thereof. An outer circumferential part of the elastomer inner cylindrical body 3 is integrally jointed to a synthetic resin-made outer cylindrical body 4, through injection molding with a ventilation space 10 therebetween. A bottomed synthetic resin-made cover member 12 is pressed into through the elastic deformation and press-jointed with an end of the outer cylindrical body 4 of the constitution with a ventilation space 10 therebetween to form a ventilation cap.
