PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain electronic equipment in which a lock device is reasonably connected to a casing, and the peripheral wall of the casing is prevented from being damaged. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes: the casing having a bottom wall and the peripheral wall with an opening; and a metal plate supported by the casing at an interval from the inner surface of the bottom wall. The metal plate is slidable between a first position where the metal plate is stored in the casing and a second position where the metal plate is protruded to the outside of the casing through the opening, and also includes an end part exposed to the outside of the casing when the metal plate is slid to the second position. A hole to which the lock device is connected is formed in the end part of the metal plate. The metal plate is kept at the second position by a holding part when the metal plate is slid to at least the second position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
