Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting liquid crystal sealing material for a liquid crystal dropping method which dispenses wit the need for ultraviolet irradiation of the liquid crystal sealing section, and further, to provide the liquid crystal sealing material suited for a thermosetting liquid crystal dropping method, which causes only low contamination of the liquid crystal, of which the adhesive strength is strong, of which the sealing linearity is superior, of which the pot lifetime at room temperature is long, and with which reduction of the cell gap is facilitated. SOLUTION: The thermosetting liquid crystal sealing material contains a (meth)acrylic epoxy resin (a); a multifunctional hydrazide compound (b); an inorganic filler (c); a setting accelerator (d); fumed silica (e); a polythiol (f); and a bisphenol S epoxy resin (g) with an alkylene oxide added thereto.
