STATE DISCRIMINATION DEVICE OF BATTERY, BATTERY INCLUDING THE STATE DISCRIMINATION DEVICE, AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE STATE DISCRIMINATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, in state discrimination of a battery for supplying the power to a starter motor for engine start, even in the case where a battery state is excellent, the state is erroneously discriminated to be in a deteriorated state owing to voltage measurement error or the like. SOLUTION: A voltage (Vs) of a battery during energization of the starter motor or a parameter acquired therefrom is used as a state parameter (Vr2), and primary discrimination of the battery state is performed by a Vr2 value. When battery deterioration is detected in the primary discrimination, secondary discrimination of the battery state is performed corresponding to the history of the Vr2 value, and a result of the secondary discrimination is displayed or outputted as the battery state. When the battery state is discriminated to be excellent in the primary discrimination, a result of the primary discrimination is displayed or outputted as a state discrimination result of the battery.
