STEEL PIPE SHEET PILE WALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe sheet pile wall capable of holding down deformation of an earth retaining wall within an allowable value while suppressing an increase in the material cost. SOLUTION: A steel pipe sheet pile body 30 comprising the steel pipe sheet pile wall 10 is divided into a first range 51 whose substantial center is at the height position where a bending moment generated in the steel pipe sheet pile wall 10 is maximum, and second ranges 52, 53 other than the first range 51. The first range 51 has a vertical length of 0.5-1.5 times the height (H) of an exposed part of the steel pipe sheet pile wall 10 which is exposed from a lower ground surface 41 of the two ground surfaces 41, 42 of the ground partitioned by the steel pipe sheet pile wall 10. In the steel pipe sheet pile body 30, the bending rigidity of the first range 51 is made to be larger than that of the second ranges 52, 53. For example, the plate thickness of the steel pipe comprising the steel pipe sheet pile body 30 is made so that the thickness of the steel pipe used in the first range 51 may be larger than that of the steel pipe used in the second ranges 52, 53.
