Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a biohydrocarbon wherein characteristics such as low-temperature fluidity, melting point and number of carbons are adequately controlled according to use thereof, by carrying out a hydrotreatment of a vegetable oil. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the biohydrocarbon through the hydrotreatment of the vegetable oil comprises: a step of reacting the vegetable oil with hydrogen gas in the presence of a hydrotreatment catalyst comprising a catalyst component carried on a catalyst carrier with prescribed flow rates of hydrogen gas and vegetable oil and a prescribed ratio of the hydrogen gas flow rate to the vegetable oil flow rate ((hydrogen gas flow rate)/(vegetable oil flow rate)); and a step of purifying the hydrogenated vegetable oil obtained in the previous step.
