Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide extremely thin film-like particles each having a skeleton formed from carbon. SOLUTION: The thin film-like particles each having a skeleton formed from carbon is obtained by oxidizing graphite and characterized in that the thickness is 0.4-10 nm, a size in a plane direction is ≥20 nm, and they are dispersible in a liquid having a dielectric constant of ≥15. The method for synthesizing the thin film-like particles includes an oxidation process of forming graphite oxide by oxidizing graphite; and a refining process of removing small ions derived from other than graphite oxide in a reaction solution after the oxidation process.
