SPACE ADJUSTING METHOD FOR CONVEYING CONTAINER, CONTAINER CONVEYING FACILITY, AND CONTAINER CONVEYING AND TREATING FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a space between adjacent containers without making the whole facility large-sized and expensive. SOLUTION: A clearance between the containers adjacent in a conveying direction out of containers 1 under conveyance is measured, and three or more adjacent containers under conveyance are set as a group. When the total of clearances between the containers of the group of containers is not smaller than a value obtained by multiplying the number of spaces between the containers in the group of containers by a set value X and also when any one of the plurality of clearances between the containers is smaller than the set value, the intermediate container 1 excluding the containers at both ends is relatively displaced to adjust so that the clearance between the adjacent containers is the set value X or larger. When the total of the clearances between the containers in the group of containers is smaller than the value obtained by multiplying the number of spaces between the containers in the group of containers by the set value X, a clearance adjustment between the containers is not made.
