CURVILINEAR CUTTING DEVICE AND CIRCULAR SAW FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device using a circular saw which can cut (slit, feed) a workpiece along any curved cutting line. SOLUTION: This curvilinear cutting device 1 for cutting a workpiece 10 along any curved cutting line includes a circular saw 20 at least the outer peripheral part of which is bendable and which can cut the workpiece along the curved cutting line while bending the outer peripheral part, a rotary means 30 for rotating the circular saw, a pressing means 40 for bending the outer peripheral part of the circular saw by pressing or displacing the circular saw in the direction parallel to the rotating axis thereof at a pressing portion on the rotating side-surface, and a control means which controls the relative position of the workpiece and the circular saw and controls the rotary means and the pressing means.
