Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mercury removing method by which mercury is removed from a mercury-containing aqueous solution without generating harmful hydrogen sulfide gas and a solid content solid-liquid separated from the aqueous solution is reused as a raw material for cement additive or a raw material for clinker. SOLUTION: The method for removing mercury from the aqueous solution containing mercury includes a step where chlorine bypass dust containing sulfide sulfur is added in the aqueous solution containing mercury, and after mixing, solid-liquid separation is applied. After solid-liquid separation, ferric salt compound is added in a liquid phase, the pH of the liquid phase is adjusted to 8-12 and after addition of a polymer flocculant, further the solid-liquid separation is carried out.
