ATTACHMENT FOR KITCHEN KNIFE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a kitchen knife which is prevented from coming off from a blade when cutting a cut object, but readily removed from the blade. SOLUTION: The attachment 1 for a kitchen knife is attached to the blade 2a of a kitchen knife 2, and includes a guide member 4 for guiding the cut object in a direction away from the blade 2a, and suction cups 5 held by the guide member 4, sticking to the blade 2a, and attaching the guide member 4 to the blade 2a. In the attachment 1, the suction cup 5 has no function to guide the cut object in a direction away from the blade 2a, so that the suction cup 5 can increase freedom in design and the suction cup 5 is allowed to be formed to have an increased suction force to the blade 2a. The attachment 1 is configured to be relatively easily removed from the blade 2a when air is put between the suction cup 5 and the blade 2a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
