Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit capable of preventing inrush current to a smoothing capacitor and/or a drive circuit that stabilizes output voltage in relation to fluctuation in power supply voltage while maintaining high power supply efficiency. SOLUTION: A rectification circuit 10 performs full-wave rectification of an AC voltage Vac1. A smoothing capacitor Cs and a first transistor TR1 are provided in series on a path connecting a first output terminal P1 and a second output terminal P2 of the rectification circuit 10. A control section 12 controls ON and OFF of the first transistor TR1 depending on a voltage Vrec rectified by the rectification circuit 10. The control section 12 turns OFF the first transistor TR1 when the rectified voltage Vrec is higher than a predetermined first level VH and turns ON the first transistor TR1 when the rectified voltage Vrec is lower than the first level VH.
