Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further save electrical power to be consumed in radio communication system utilizing repeaters. SOLUTION: An access point 2 prepared as a repeater in radio communication includes: a controller 20; a timer 21; an RF circuit 22; and a radio communication controller 23. In the power saving mode, the radio communication controller 23 controls the RF circuit 22 to the ON state in each predetermined period responding to the signal from the timer 21 and meanwhile, suppresses power consumption in the RF circuit 22 by switching the RF circuit 22 to the OFF state from the ON state when the predetermined period has passed.
