METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organopolysiloxane compound uniformly soluble in ethanol. SOLUTION: A method for producing an organopolysiloxane compound in which a poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) segment comprising a repeating unit represented by general formula (1) is bonded to a terminal and/or a side chain of an organopolysiloxane segment is provided. The method includes the steps of: (a) carrying out ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic imino ether compound represented by general formula (I) to prepare a terminal-reactive poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) solution; and (b) dehydrating and drying a modified organopolysiloxane having an amino group at a terminal of a molecule chain thereof and/or in a side chain thereof and reacting the same with the terminal-reactive poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) solution obtained in the step (a), wherein R1is a hydrogen atom, a 1-22C alkyl group, an aralkyl group, or an aryl group; and n is 2 or 3.
