Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diethylzinc composition that can enhance the heat stability of diethylzinc to be used in applications such as a polymerization catalyst, an organic synthesis reagent, and a raw material for producing a thin film of zinc oxide using an MOCVD method or the like, and has excellent heat stability of not allowing metallic zinc particles to precipitate during a long period of its use. SOLUTION: The diethylzinc composition includes diethylzinc and at least one or two compound(s) selected from (1) a specific aromatic compound comprising an isopropyl group on its side chain, (2) a specific compound comprising a fulvene skeleton, (3) squalene, and (4) 2,4-diphenyl-4-methyl-1-pentene, each having a melting point or a freezing point of not higher than 25°C added to diethylzinc as an additive.
