SHEET FEEDER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder and an image forming device capable of enhancing productivity. SOLUTION: The sheet feeder includes a sheet presence/absence sensor 117 for detecting the presence/absence of a sheet on a middle plate 103, a temporary stopper 105 which is movable to a waiting position (temporary position) and a feedable state, and a drive motor for driving the temporary stopper 105. When the sheet presence/absence sensor 117 detects that the sheet is absent on the middle plate 103, the drive motor is actuated based thereon, and the temporary stopper 105 at the waiting position is moved to the feedable state, and returned to the waiting position. Thus, the sheet can be supplied to the middle plate 103 even during the feeding operation, the continuous feeding operation becomes possible, and efficient work can be performed.
