Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a rate of data bits in a matrix of interleaved data bits to a desired rate by a simple method, in a rate matching method of a communication system. SOLUTION: In a method of interleaving data bits including rearranging rows and columns of a matrix comprising Nrrows and Nccolumns, the data bits to be interleaved are represented according to the following expressions on a row basis: row rearrangement Ir(k)=[αrk+fc(l)]modNr, column rearrangement Ic(l)=[αrk+fc(k)]modNc.
