Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ground a control device including a battery controller without using an earth cable. SOLUTION: A battery module 100 has a conductive battery storage casing 110 storing a plurality of battery cells 300 inside, and the battery storage casing 110 is attached to a vehicle body 500 via a module base 220. On the upper face of the battery storage casing 110, the control device 900 is mounted including the battery controller 300 and a cell controller 200. The energy storage device 1000 includes the battery module 100 and the control device 900. The battery controller 300 and the cell controller 200 are mounted on a conductive base 910, and their negative electrode terminals are grounded on the base 910. Thus, the potential of each of the negative electrode terminals of the battery controller 300 and the cell controller 200 of the control device 900 is equal to that of the ground battery of the vehicle body 500.
