LENS BARREL AND IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To house a first lens group in a compact state, to reduce the number of assembling steps, and achieve high optical accuracy after assembling. SOLUTION: The lens barrel is equipped with: a first lens frame 53 configured to hold the first lens group 21; a first moving frame 54 configured to move the first lens frame 53 between a photographing position and a housing position; a position adjusting spring 52 configured to energize the first lens frame 53 toward the first moving frame 54; a guide ring 51 which is rotatable with respect to the first moving frame 54; and a second lens frame configured to hold the second lens group located behind the first lens group 21. The first lens frame 53 is disposed so that the position thereof in the direction of an optical axis 20a is adjusted by changing the contact position with the first moving frame 54 with the rotation of the guide ring 51, and so as to prevent the first lens group 21 and the second lens group from coming into contact with each other in the housing position, the second lens frame is disposed so that the first lens frame 53 and the first moving frame 54 are separated from each other against the energizing of the position adjusting spring 52.
