Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion laser device that minimizes a semiconductor laser driving current or maximizes light output intensity, even when an environment temperature is changed. SOLUTION: When the semiconductor laser driving current I is controlled so that the output light intensity P is kept at a predetermined value Po, the semiconductor laser driving current I is monitored. When the current I becomes equal to or more than a predetermined value ΔI, the temperature of a substrate, on which a housing which houses the semiconductor laser and a part of polarization holding type optical fiber therein, and the polarization holding type optical fiber are disposed, is tuned so that the semiconductor layer driving current I is minimized.
