Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reducing time required to synchronize power generator to power grid system. SOLUTION: A power generating device (100) matches a voltage of a power generator (145) and a grid (155) voltage before a grid matching speed is reached, during a startup process. A prediction algorithm (365) or a similar algorithm is provided for controlling an acceleration rate of the power generating device (100) such that a certain phase angle difference between the power generating device (100) and a grid (155) is targeted when the power generating device (100) reaches the grid matching speed. The phase angle difference can be targeted such that a power generator breaker can be closed immediately after the power generating device (100) accelerates beyond the grid matching speed. As a result, the power generator (145) can be prevented from receiving a phase angle difference that may possibly add a power transition state related to closing of the power generator breaker.
