SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING TOOL BAR APPLICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for automatically synchronizing tool bar setting information among a plurality of terminals. SOLUTION: In a tool bar management system 1 which manages a tool bar application that operates in a terminal, a user terminal 10 includes a means for transmitting user identification information and tool bar setting information 110 to a server 20 in accordance with a setting operation of tool bar items, transmitting, in response to the display request of the tool bar items, user identification information and tool bar setting information 110 relating to the display request to the server 20, and confirming tool bar setting information 110 on the side of the server 20. The server 20 stores the received tool bar setting information 110 into a tool bar setting information DB 210 in association with the user identification information, and refers to the tool bar setting information DB 210 on the basis of the received tool bar setting information 110 and the user identification information, to transmit data required for updating to the user terminal 10 only when the tool bar items of the terminal 10 needs to be updated.
