LENS BARREL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that can reduce the backlash of a cam barrel and can facilitate manufacture thereof. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a lens frame supporting a lens for condensing incident light; a straight advancing fixed frame 106 provided in the circumference of the lens frame and regulating the operation of the lens frame in a rotational direction with respect to the optical axis of the incident light; a cam barrel 108 which is provided in the circumference of the straight advancing fixed frame 106, to be connected to the lens frame, has a sliding groove in an inwall, and freely slides the lens frame in an optical axis direction; and a thrust ring 112 coming into contact with the edge of the cam barrel 108 in the optical axis direction so as to regulate the operation of the came barrel 108. Furthermore, the cam barrel 108 includes protrusions 116 at least at three places in a part coming into contact with the thrust ring 112. Also, the thrust ring 112 is fixed to the outer circumferential part of the straight advancing fixed frame 106, and the surface of the thrust ring, coming into contact with the cam barrel 108, is inclined toward an optical axis in the same direction.
