JOINT STRUCTURE OF REINFORCING BARS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly join a reinforcing bar to another one, to improve joint strength between the reinforcing bar and a sleeve, and to reduce fastening torque of a locking nut. SOLUTION: A joint structure of reinforcing bars includes a male threaded part 11 friction pressure-welded to an end part of a deformed bar 1, a female threaded part 2 comprising the sleeve threadingly fitted to the male threaded part, and the locking nut 3 fastening the male threaded part and the female threaded part. A square thread 11a is formed on the male threaded part 11, and a male threaded part 11c having the size and pitch smaller than those of the square thread is formed on an outer periphery 11b of the square thread. A square thread 21 threadingly fitted to the square thread 11a of the male threaded part 11, is formed on the female threaded part 2. A female thread 31 threadingly fitted to the male thread 11c having the smaller size and pitch and formed on the outer periphery 11b of the square thread 11a is formed on the locking nut 3.
