MECHANISM FOR ADJUSTING GAP CLOSING MEMBER OF SLIDING DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for adjusting a gap closing member of a sliding door. SOLUTION: A supporting member (t) of the closing member (u) is housed in a storage portion (r) of a stile or a column material; an adjusting member for adjusting the amount of protrusion of the closing member is provided by being connected to the supporting member; the adjusting member is composed of a combination of first and second cam members 2 and 3; the first cam member is provided with a recess which has a peripheral wall surface formed as an approximately heart-shaped cam surface; a protrusion 32 for being housed in the recess is formed on the second cam member 2; a peripheral surface of the protrusion is formed as an approximately triangular surface by three convexly curved surfaces; right, left and lower central portions are formed as top portions with respect to the approximately heart-shaped cam surface of the recess; and a guiding shaft provided on the bottom of the recess of the first cam member structurally guides a guiding groove formed in a horizontally long shape in the second cam member, and regulates the movement direction of the guiding groove.
