PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY METHOD USING CORPUSCULAR-BEAM TREATING TOGETHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making photodynamic therapy method which uses together corpuscular-beam treating which is little in living body burden in cancer treating etc. of a mammal, and provides an excellent therapy effect by effectively destroying a malignant tumor. SOLUTION: The treating is carried out by applying: a first step for irradiating a corpuscular beam on a tumor tissue of the mammal in the photodynamic therapy method; and a second step in which 5-aminolevulinic acid is administrated to the mammal irradiated with the corpuscular beam and thereafter a laser beam of the wave length of 630 to 675 nm is irradiated on the tumor tissue where protoporphyrin IX, into which 5-aminolevulinic acid is converted through a metabolic pathway, is accumulated.
