DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden in input switching operation by selecting a video signal of an input source corresponding to a person who has started up an apparatus. SOLUTION: A display control apparatus comprises an input source selection unit 100 for switching an input source by a user operation and a person judging unit 102 that recognizes a person in front of a display device and outputs person judgment information. A relevant information accumulating unit 103 associates information indicating the input source from the input source selection unit 100 with the person judgment information and stores them. When the apparatus is started up, a control unit 105 searches for the input source information corresponding to the person judgment information of the person that has started up the apparatus from the information stored in the relevant information accumulation unit 103, and instructs the display control unit 104 to output a video signal of the input source corresponding to the input source information.
