TELEPHONE TERMINAL AND MUTUAL UTILIZATION METHOD OF PHONEBOOK DATA BETWEEN TELEPHONE TERMINALS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which makes it possible to mutually utilize personal data registered in phonebook data of respective telephone terminals without increasing the capacity of the phonebook data of the each telephone terminals. SOLUTION: When the personal data of a retrieval object are specified by an operator, the IP telephone terminal 1 of a retrieval request origin transmits a retrieval request accompanied by the personal data to a retrieval request destination. The IP telephone terminal 1 of the retrieval request destination which receives the retrieval request retrieves the personal data including information completely matching with the information of one of editing limit items extracted from the personal data of the retrieval object added to it, and retrieval does not hit, retrieves the personal data including the information partially matching with the information of one of editable items extracted from the personal data of the retrieval object further. Then, a retrieval result report accompanied with the personal data hit by retrieval is transmitted to the retrieval request origin. Also, when receiving the retrieval result report, the IP telephone terminal 1 of the retrieval request origin displays an personal data retrieval result on the basis of the personal data of the retrieval result added to it.
