SOLID-STATE ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact solid-state electrolytic capacitor having a large capacity and a small leakage current. SOLUTION: An anode body 1 is in a foil shape having a main surface PL extended in one direction D1. A cathode layer covers a first part P1 including one end of the anode body, and exposes a second part P2 including the other end E2. A dielectric layer insulates the anode body from the cathode layer. The first and second parts P1, P2 are adjacent at a boundary BN on the main surface PL. The boundary BN is inclined to a direction vertical to one direction D1 in the main surface PL. The anode body 1 includes a creep-up prevention section N1 for preventing the formation of the cathode layer at an end E2b where a distance to the boundary BN becomes shorter from both the ends E2a, E2b of the other end E2.
