Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop design of an X-ray tube for precisely arranging an electron beam by controlling a focal point and position of an electron beam on the same time scale to store an image quality, performance of an imaging system, and durability of an X-ray source, and controlling electron beam intensity based on scanning requirements. SOLUTION: An injector (52) for an X-ray tube (50) is presented. The injector (52) includes an emitter (58) emitting the electron beam (64), at least one focusing electrode (70) disposed around the emitter (58) and focusing the electron beam (64), and at least one extraction electrode (74) maintained at a positive bias voltage with respect to the emitter (58), and controlling intensity of the electron beam (64).
