PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker equipped with a highly reliable operation switch capable of performing a sure operation input by electric equipment for a home use. SOLUTION: The cooker is provided with light-emitting elements 55a to 55c for irradiating light with a plurality of different wavelengths fitted for each key switch 11a to 11c, a wavelength selecting means 56, a single light receiving element 57 for receiving the reflected light of the plurality of wavelengths reflected at a finger 53, an I-V converting means 58 for converting a photocurrent detected at the light receiving element 57 into a voltage, and a storage means 59 for storing voltage proportional to the amount of light received for each wavelength outputted from the I-V converting means 58. The cooker determines the existence of key operation by calculating a light receiving amount rate of the reflected light of the plurality of wavelengths by an output of the storage means 59.
